The Concept of Notional Domain:
Summary:
The article is about exploring notional domain. Since, two occurrences can either be discernable or incomparable. Notional domain structure an occurrences as “interior”, as both the occurrences share some similarity and there is no division in between. As, it may have an organized center. Then, there is an exterior, which does not have shared center. Linguistic complements can be made through either boundary or using exterior only. Domain can be divided on the bases f various properties. i.e. time, intersubjective relations, aspect operations and modal operations. Since recognizing an utterance actually means to construct a relationship among markers. It takes place at two level. At level one it is the utterance and at level 2 it is the operation. So, researcher has constructed an operation of location. Since, no term can be located on its own, it can be located in relation to a referring system, which is located at exterior. Locators may include various parameters like: enunciator, locator, spatial or temporal locators. So, various operations are used to construct the categories for the determination, quantification and qualification.
Research Topic
The research is about exploring the operations involved in the construction of linguistic functions.
Research Methodology
The researcher has used mathematical operations and various theoretic preconceptions to explore the operations which link exterior and interior to construct various logical operations.
Conclusions
Each locator involved two parameters. Primarily, enunciators and, secondly, Spatial-temporal locators. And various operations are used to create the links. Categories can be reduced on the basis of the operations performed by these categories.
Purpose:
The study explores how notional domain structures are used to perform various linguistic operations.
Data Analysis:
Researcher has used various logical and mathematical operations to construct an approach to describe notional domain structure. Primitive and predicative relationships are used to elaborate the operation of location.
Conclusion
In conclusion it can be deduced that locators can be restricted to two parameters which are enunciators and spatiotemporal parameters. This is being a derivative of a minimal system which uses the structured set of operations The locators along with operations help in constructing categories of determination, quantification and qualification. Thus, it becomes theoretically possible to develop a framework to unify phenomenon to gain success in language related invariance. This is a minimal system; by building additional locators, it can be built further in a controlled manner.
